This composition is for an arcade game called 2dPlatformer. It is built by Unity Games showcasing their set of game development tools, appropriately called the Unity game engine.
The music composition has a total of 9 cues which include; 3 intros, 3 main music loops and 3 endings. All of these cues must connect to one another given that they loop together and are put into a random choice container for them to shuffle. Each time the game starts it would have one of the 3 intros, while you play the 3 main music cues will loop and when you lose one of the endings will play.
A total of 18 sound effects were also created. This included: bomb boom, bomb fuse, bomb pickup, bomb set down, enemy death (3 variations), gun shot, health pickup, jumps (3 variations), “ouch” (3 variations) and taunt (3 variation). The sound design where created layering unique recorded sounds with sometimes sound existing in westarmusic.com or freesound.org; all of them were then processed and edited.
The music was finally implemented to the game by using Wwise software.
