Pleased to say that I will be presenting at the Modern Band Summit 2023 at Colorado State University.
Alongside Sandra Sanchez Adorno, our session “Bridging Music Production, Modern Band and Orff” will discuss first steps in music production and provide strategies for inspiring musical creativity with both technology and modern band instruments through processes inspired by Orff Schulwerk.
Last week I had the pleasure of being part of the Music Technology Leadership Academy.
It included sessions on diversity, equity, inclusion and awareness in the music classroom. Also reviewed what is known as non-traditional music students and how to increase their inclusion by using technology in our practice.
Last month I presented at the Association for Populat Music Education (APME) online Graduate conference.
I presented my session “Music Production Metholody as a framework for building diversity and equity in the music classroom”.
